Sept 10th there will be slow drags in Ilwaco from 4 p.m. until dusk.   Registration for the show will be open on Friday Sept. 10th at 9:00 a.m. and on Sat. Sept 11th at 8:00 a.m.   The show and shine will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sat. and Sun.  There will be lots of vendors, music by a DJ (50′s and 60′s), door prizes for the participants, and special entertainment by impersonators of Jerry Lee Lewis, Meryl Haggard and Elvis Presley.   Both Sat and Sun there will be a free continental breakfast for show participants.   On Sunday there will be a Poker Run off the field from 9:00 to 11:00 for the first 200 cars and a spectular Seafood Picnic for the show participants.   At 2:00 p.m. on Sunday we will be awarding trophies.   If you would like more information www.beachbarons.com.

Car enthusiasts didn’t let a little precipitation get in the way of having a good time at Olympic Stadium on Saturday for the Pushrods annual Show n Shine Car Show!

Les Schwab set up their huge trailer displaying some of the beautiful rims they offer, Home Depot had the Kids Workshop & Chimney Techniques cooked up steak tips with the Big Green Egg.

We did have a great turn out considering the forecast with a great many spectators visit Olympic Stadium and at one point, Tony H. challenged another car in a pipe contest for pink slips. We’re not quite sure how that one turned out but the visit from the Grays Harbor Bearcat Cheerleaders was a pleasant treat that may have stopped a pacemaker.
